Who we are and what powers us
Kikwetu is a journey to bridge two places that are very special to us: Kenya, where we were born and raised and Chicago, where we have made our lives. We began in 2014 with a simple goal: To enable all people to slow down and truly connect over a high quality cup of coffee. This focus on exceptional quality and human connections remains at the core of everything we do.
Kikwetu, meaning “our style” or “our culture” in Swahili, is a warm invitation to experience the heart of Kenya.
